WHY AND HOW YOU CAN SAVE ENDANGERED ANIMALS TODAY?

In September 2016, all Commercial Trade in Pangolin was Banned by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES)
Many animals are currently in danger of going extinct. Human beings are causing thousands of kinds of animals to die off. People destroyed the forests and grasslands where animals like the elephants lived. Most endangered animals today are in trouble because people are destroying their habitats.

The giant pangolin is a totally protected animal under the Cameroon forestry law

Nevertheless, people try to save endangered animals by taking them to zoos or laboratories. They breed the animals there. When there are enough animals, they set them free in the wild. Meanwhile, some biologists believe the best way to save endangered animals is to save their habitats. Thus, a set-up of national parks, sanctuaries and forest reserves where the animals can live and keeping the animals safe from hunters and other dangers is the best way to save endangered, endemic and threatened animals.
In September 2016, all commercial trade in pangolin was banned by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Giant Pangolin (Manisgigantea) is theubiquitous specie present, appearing or found everywhere. The giant pangolin is a pangolin species and members of the species inhabit Africa with a range stretching along the equator from West Africa to Uganda. The giant pangolin is the largest species of pangolins, or "scaly anteaters" – the large, scaled mammals. It subsists almost entirely on ants and termites.

Sort:

Though a ban was placed on the trade of this species it seem not to be respected as hunting of this species is very high around the moungo division were i happened to work sometimes. If we have to save this species then much work still needs to be done.
