Hello guys. Today i will be discussing the prevailing problems in the energy sector and how the blockchain plans to provide solution to this. Looking into today's world, there is a current energy crisis which we might have not taken into consideration as a result of the fact that the effects are yet to be fully affected on us. Non renewable energy sources is a major source of energy used today. Its effect on the environment is quite harmful and slow, so we really might not feel the effect yet. Several developed and developing have switched gradually into using a renewable energy source which tends to be the future of energy production but its quite unfortunate that only a few stuck to the adoption of a renewable energy source.
The gradual effect of non-renewable energy sources is really affecting the planet and may lead to a greater damage in future. This is what brought about a need for alternative energy source like the use of wind and solar energy. Even with the advent of these energy sources, our everyday demand for energy is still more than than the energy produced. A large amount of resources is being pumped into infrastructural projects and research just to find long lasting solutions and also full knowledge on how it works.
What if there was a way these energy sources could get to a point of self sufficiency and sustainability? what if we had agencies and organizations with the knowledge on helping to achieve this? On this basis, i will be discussing a project which tends to provide renewable energy and will be a major solution and disruption in energy production.
WPP ENERGY
WPP is and acronym standing for Worlds Power Production. WPP Energy is a blockchain based solution for a cost effective and network incentive-based structure to help shift from fossil fuels to efficiency and renewable. WPP also offers the mobile power station .This stand-alone Power Station requires only a water line hook-up and can be delivered anywhere in the world.
WPP is also creating a cryptocurrency exchange involving trading of energy tokens. Energy projects will be able to trade their cryptocurrency on the exchange and raise funds for their projects. WPP token is the digital currency that provides the medium of exchange for transactions on the Grid platform.
