I believe this is what the 'resteem' button is for. Resteeming a post passes it on to your followers but also allows them to vote for it (for another 7 days), which of course is better for me :).

Sure thing. I wanted to Resteem. I hope I'm not putting my foot in my mouth, but I think the option is not available after a certain age?? Correct me if I'm wrong. Now I need to go double check :) But I think so. In any case, it is meant as a compliment.
