Taking up an engineering course is one of the most challenging yet the most promising decisions one makes. When one does he or she has to find the beauty and sense of solving all those problems with x and y. He or she also has to endure the nerve wrecking sensation those mathematical problems give for five long years but the most painful thing about it is that after studying reviewing for months to pass the licensure exam and spending years in professional practice not everyone who leaves the country to work abroad ends up doing an engineering job.

Holding a degree a license and having the job experience do not promise an engineering job abroad. Some who used to be engineers in the country are working in gasoline stations, casinos, and other establishment. They are engineers yet they are neither on hard hats, nor working in engineering offices, nor surveying construction sites and the like. Neverthless such is not always the case, which perhaps, proves that fate and luck also have an impact on what one faces in life. In fact some engineers turn out to be more successful while practicing their profession abroad than they had been in the country of course, the fate of one engineer is not the fate of all.

Though looking for a job abroad is a hard quest and though ones job in the philippines might not be the same one available abroad since work experience in the philippines does not assure an engineering job abroad experience even in another fields makes one grow.

Sometimes having that experience especially from another country might not matter much to an employer and might not be enough for one to have the job he or she wants but that same work experience might just be the reason why one would eventually land on a job of higher rank the job he or she wants and deserves. Experience matters especially when coupled with luck.
