Steem ENS was officially launched over a week ago. In the announcement, I mentioned that you will be able to support your favorite Steem projects by getting a Steem ENS name. How it works is simple, the @steem.ens account will be used to vote on posts from related Steem projects.
The number of vote is capped at once per day for each project and the voting power used for each vote will be based on the number of associated Steem ENS names to a particular project. The formula is as such,
Power of daily vote = (Number of associated Steem ENS names)/(Total number of Steem ENS names)Using the current state as an example, @ecoinstant is our first user (also the only user for now). He opted to support @upfundme and requested for a ENS name ecoinstant.upfundme.eth. As a result, the @steem.ens account will cast up to one 100% daily vote for @upfundme's posts.
The auto-vote is done through SteemVoter. The voting rule will be updated on a weekly basis.

@steem.ens will also publish the updated status of Steem ENS regularly. Here is the current status as of 21 Jan 2020.
