This passing Friday had too many films in B Town and other films to release in the media. This certainly included the Hollywood movie called The Nun. Well, there is no denying of the fact that films from Hollywood perform better over the box office irrespective of any kind of genre it has. These include the horror, superhero and action films, which are being welcomed a lot by the Indian audience. So, when The Nun got its release this Friday in the Indian theatres, it was an instant hit for obvious reasons. The film by Corin Hardy embarking under the franchise of Conjuring series went on with an impressive note. The first day had a decent collection and so was during the first weekend that went on to give a huge collection at the box office.

Now, as we talk about this film The Nun, the figures at the box office went on with the humongous number on the first day itself. It has collected around 8 crore on the opening day, which went on amazing. On the very second day the collection went on to collect around 10.20 crore, giving together an amount of 18.20 crore. The Sunday was a big hit as the collection went on the higher side giving away around 15.20 crore. So, the 1st weekend box office collection for the movie The Nun reached to around 33.40 crore, which is actually a decent collection to have for the makers.

So, in the list of several movies released on this Friday only The Nun was able to perform the best over the box office. The rest releasing on the same day including Paltan, Laila Majnu and Gali Guleiyan were able to fall down over the box office for obvious reasons. Also, during the weekdays, these three films would go down in terms of collection, which will certainly going to help the film called The Nun, which is going to collect huge over the box office. It would be interesting to see, how this film would be performing during the weekdays, and as of now the picture is rosy for the film in terms of box office collection.
