Life is not always easy, in fact often it's downright hard. Life is also unfair for many people. We as human beings are capable of great things like love compassion kindness and empathy for others. On the other hand we as human beings are also capable of the opposite to those things like cruelty unkindness greed etc.
I recently read a post about a film called "3 DAYS" by @julieo and although i haven't viewed the film yet, ( I will soon)
It reminded me of a film iv'e seen a few times in the past called "A Wonderful Life" an old black and white film made in 1946 with James Stewart playing the role of George Baily. This film in my opinion is a tour de force in showing the above stated qualities and negatives that we have as humans. I first saw this film when i was about 11 years old. Back then as a family we would all huddle up together in front of that old black and white tv on a Sunday afternoon and watch the Sunday Matinee. In those days back in the 1960s it was usually an old black and white film and mostly american. Since that time i've watched "A Wonderful Life" quite a few times. The film focuses on George Baily a decent kind man, faced with problems not of his doing George, knowing that in money terms he is worth more dead than alive, contemplates suicide, however he is distracted at the time he is about to throw himself of a bridge into a river by an Angel, Clarence. George tells Clarence that he wished he had never been born. Clarence grants him that wish. George sees how it would have been if he had never been born. I'ts a touching story and a great Christmassy happy ending. Watching this old classic can be uplifting and restore belief in the nicer sides to our human nature. Life is beautiful or not, depends on how you choose to perceive it. I have realised that we have been blessed with this amazing creation and we must embrace with a beautiful heart. Life is amazing in all the small things. The morning sunrise , a good jog, a wide smile in the beginning of the day, a wonderful family and amazing friends. Many people have all this in their life but we fail to acknowledge it. Life is all about love, laughter, sharing, spreading a smile and most important living. I am fortunate enough to have realised all this at a young age and believe me my life has changed for the good. Life is just so uncertain and that’s perhaps the best part. We may go on planing for years to come and one day all of that becomes futile. So my friend life for me is “CarpeDiem” , embracing the uncertainties and just living with a smile. Trust me it will make a big difference. Your heart will answer you when the joy becomes unparalleled.

I like how you see things in a better and positive view. It is always great to focus on the good side of things. If we dwell in the bad, then we will be miserable. What we choose to see will also attract those which makes life depressing. We lose focus on what is important and our purpose in life. Start by looking at the small things and learn to appreciate and value them. It starts with small things and then to bigger things. Angels come to us in the form of our family and friends and even strangers.
That looks like an interesting movie. We used to have a TV and it is in black and white too. We do have a colored one but it is only for watching tapes but that came later. I will look into this film and watch it, too.

I watched it for the first time when I was about 11, too! This movie is a big deal for me to watch every year. And every year that I watch it I'm struck by HOW much of an impact it's had on my life. Every year it affects me differently, and the impact is always profound. It helps me see how I've changed and grown because I see it differently, am touched differently, and learn a different lesson every year.
From school to university we have prepared so many times for exam but now I realise that life isn’t the toughest exam and no body can escape from it .... In today’s world everyone wants peace in their lives whether it’s a rich or poor ..... we all are fighting in our lives to find peace , to balance our life .... my thinking is that we should always wish and do good for others whether in return they do good to us or not
