Finding Out When and What to Research

Something everybody figures out is that time is a valuable asset. With current technology inching into every industry there feels like a sudden rush to understand as much as possible. Knowledge cannot be absorbed without concentration and focus and overwhelming the brain with information won't help at all.

I've been told that the brain is like a sponge with information. Sponges are pretty absorbent and can retain many things but if placed in a container and filled with water(Knowledge) then it is just a wet lump unable to absorb the entirety of its container. Sure, it's in the element it can absorb but it is unable to absorb so much.

Knowing an industry and figuring out what changes technology will bring to that specific area will help find a focus point. For example, I like Gaming. The stories(Writing), the Voice Actors(Acting), the setting/premise(World building), The gameplay(Input/visual), Generative A.I. and Web3/Blockchain are two technologies that are sucking up that industry as they offer alternatives and certain benefits to both the developers and the players.

My interest gives me a direction to follow and I discover relevant information along the way.

Observing a favorite industry and seeing what changes are being made might mean new ventures are being opened/created that are currently unknown.

So stay knowledgeable!
