Aleksa's Book Review: Lean Analytics

Knowing that you're doing something wrong is very easy - admitting that you're doing so is somewhat harder, taking ownership is much harder and actually fixing it is impossibly demanding for most people.

It's extremely necessary for myself to read this book as diagnosing the issues of any company is becoming a more real part of my life by the day. The book goes into how to use various analytics tools that can be purchased in the market.

However, a lot of fundamental insight about the theory of business design is present as well: are we measuring the correct thing and how do we know that's the case? The concept of vanity metrics hit me through the heart.

This is a highly useful and applicable book, as it slices one's ego into ribbons with very specific questions that we expertly avoid. Strongly recommend.
