Aleksa's Book Review: Lean Startup

Point and laugh if you must, but I haven't yet gotten around to this book despite the myriad recommendations that I have received. As a stand-alone read, it garners mention but is not as instrumental as I'd thought.

The primary take-away from this tome is the fact that you cannot effectively plan an enterprise like you can a rocket launch - one is complicated and the other complex, as we've gone through in other reviews.

It means that there must be a constant Boyd loop within the startup in which accurate data is gathered, observed and then corrected for. It's not something I have a habit of doing correctly and will work on.

Other than that, the book is very functional and there's a reason why it's regarded as highly as it is.
