Hi Steemers! Again me with my assignment for the Entrepreneurship class :D
In order to find out more about the entrepreneurial community in Madrid, I have contacted several institutions. None of them replyed, including the Croatian Embassy in Madrid.
Despite this minor setback, I have continued to look for the information on the internet, for example on government sites, facebook, forums...
I have found several companies providing entrepreneurship mentoring, but by far, the most interesting is the European institute of entrepreneurship (https://eiespain.com) whose headquarters are in Madrid! Threy are a startup that helps startups start up. And, as far as I can see from their website, they do not charge, but are very picky with their candidates. They probably tell you the price after you apply, or they take a precentage of your company. They organise lots of workshops and gatherings so I have subscribed to their newsletter in order to get invited.
One more interesting thing that I found - on Facebook there are many groups made for people to discuss entrepreneurship, startup problems, drawing up business plans, they organise networking events, free workshops...
Madrid is a big city, much bigger than Zagreb, so it is not strange that the community is stronger, more diverse and open than the one in Zagreb.
