Hahahaha, that's Mexico! Theatrical and lenient, combined with pointless overkill, like spraying stuff, or stepping in chlorinated water (just to kill the particles of virus on our soles, to prevent them from getting into our mouths, right?)

I'm glad you got to see the monarch butterflies - again. The experience was a bit different each time I went, depending on the season. The first time I visited was quite late in the season, in March, and I remember the ground being covered with a layer of dead butterflies, while others were hanging in bunches from the trees. Many of them were flying around too, but comparatively few.
