Starting Beans Token Economic Activity

I am writing this article because I want to propose one idea on how to create an economic activity around Beans token (http://eos.cafe/). My hope is that at the very least this article could start various discussions among Beans token holders (EOS Cafe DAC) which can result in many more workable ideas on how to create value in Beans token. Creating value in the token will allow EOS Cafe DAC to attract talented people to work on its current and future development projects. Those projects are geared toward establishing digital space and physical cafes including building relationship with affiliated cafes where all will have direct reach to customers or future holders of Beans token. In relation to EOS Cafe's current efforts in becoming a Block Producer (BP) for EOS platform, current and future holders of Beans token are also potential voters supporting EOS Cafe BP based on common interest in the success of both entities.

One use case of Beans token that I am proposing in this article is to use it as reward points. Reward points could have monetary value because its holders can use it for in-store/in-cafe purchase. Customers can purchase Beans token with local currency as gift token or refill token for future in-cafe purchase or earn free token by participating in survey, customer feedback, bounties, etc. The physical EOS cafes and affiliates, which will receive initial free tokens from EOS Cafe DAC, can also purchase more Beans tokens from its holders (EOS Cafe DAC) to sell to the customers and they can use the tokens for purchasing in-cafe goods and beverages. This will allow injection of local currency into Bean tokens and will create value for it. For this to function, EOS Cafe DAC must also provide valued services for the physical cafes beyond tokens. Thus, this is where being able to attract talented token holders to work on EOS Cafe projects is crucial.

To summarize, I list below several activities of EOS Cafe DACs (Decentralize Autonomous Communities) that can jump start Beans token economic activity.

EOS Cafe DAC Activities:

Distributing initial amount of free Beans token for reward points
Helping to drive foot traffic to EOS Cafes and Affiliated Cafes using social channels and website
Developing Beans token wallets
Developing mobile app
Providing portal for customer feedback/survey

EOS Cafes and Affiliated Cafes Activities:

Distributing Beans token as reward points
Selling Beans token as gift token for purchasing in-cafe beverages, coffee beans sourced from sustainable businesses e.g. https://www.aboriginalcoffee.com/, merchandise, etc.
Purchasing additional Beans token from token holders (EOS Cafe DAC)

Customer Activities:

Using Beans token for in-cafe purchases
Buying Beans token from cafes or directly from EOS Cafe DAC for gift or refill
Participating in survey, providing regular feedback, bounties, etc. to earn free Beans token
