EOS Dublin are currently working hard in concert with other BP teams to make sure the EOSIO launch is secure and flawless. As CEO Sharif Bouktila puts it: “It’s worth taking the time to do it right.” For CTO Sam Noble, this means round the clock testing and coordination with other BPs. At EOS Dublin we’re dedicated to one main net, one global community, and taking the time to do it right.
The next phase will be voting. As a voter, valued community member and token holder, you should definitely not worry about voting at the moment, but when the time comes, when the main net is launched and you’ve heard from several trusted BPs that it is time to vote, our advice is to use the EOS Portal:
The Portal was the result of a community project organized by Katie Roman. @summerskin It’s not ready to use yet, but we love how simple it is, and we trust the team behind it.
Everyone is saying the best advice is to do nothing. That’s true but there’s one exception: just like any election, you should be educating yourself on the candidates. With almost 200 block producers out there, it’s difficult to know where every single one stands. We expect to see dozens of curated lists of recommended Block Producer articles coming out in the next few days. We’ve already read a few and we thought we would share them with you.
Tom Norwood delivered his list of recommended BPs on Trybe. His article is nicely organized and gives succinct information about each Block Producer on the list. Here’s what Tom had to say about EOS Dublin:
Strong team who have been heavily involved in testing. Great community engagement. Have already produced a number of useful apps for EOS such as www.parachute.zone and intend on reinvesting a lot of their rewards in community development and education.
The article is a great way to get an overview of many BPs and think about who you would like to vote for. Here it is in full:

Our friend David O’Rourke took the time to create a video with all of the BP summaries from the article:
Sonata Systems put out a similar article of recommended BP summaries. Here’s what they had to say about EOS Dublin:
Active outreach, self-funded, Dapp development: Parachute token airdrop distribution

We were proud to be included on both of these lists, and moreover, proud of the work we’ve done so far in collaboration with other BPs. We’re committed to one main net, never taking shortcuts, and doing it right.
Of course we all can’t wait for launch, but this time is valuable too. We have breakthrough technology, but building a global network is also about communication and collaboration—across thousands of miles, multiple time zones and using many languages. This time leading up to launch has afforded a great opportunity for us to build the systems of collaboration and communication that we’ll rely on every day after launch, and for that we’re grateful.
We want all the token holders and everyone in the greater EOS community to stay safe. Never share your private key, and wait to hear from many trusted BPs before you vote. In the mean time, plan your vote, discuss candidates and search for more lists of recommended BPs like the ones we’ve shared here. It’s worth taking the time to do it right!
All the best,
EOS Dublin
