EOS Block Producers has been organized into 3 random groups and they are working with other BPs to prepare for the launch. Here is an update:

##4/30/2018 - BP Random pool update:
The first task for the group was to choose a name to work under. After some fun back and forth we decided on block.deux, a nod to both Block One and our Canadian teammates.

Next was to set the objective of this group, and it is clear we have one mission: to get launch ready and make sure as many in our group will be ready to help.

It was agreed that the scope of this project would be to work together on launch procedures now, and keep the group engaged and working together for when the next release of code comes.

Denis (EOS Nation) and the Scholar testnet provided guidance to help the few BPs who still hadn't joined a large public testnet.

Then the focus shifted to working with EOS Canada on their boot process orchestration tool.

These guys are doing a phenomenal job, technically outstanding but with clear communication to move the project along. Its a rare thing!

Next week it will be more of the same. Increase the number of BPs participating in the bootup, and iron out any kinks.

We look forward to hearing the progress and approach from the other groups. We are one team, and need to bring all of these efforts together to execute a flawless launch.
