3. TECH SPECS

Now EOS OK runs one block producer node in the ArrowHead testnet. The hardware configuration is:

Instance: AWS EC2 m5.2xlarge
CPUs: 8 core
Memory: 32 GB
Network: Up to 2,120 Mbps
Storage: EBS Optimized

In addition, we will increase investment according to the results of the test network and the recommendations of the BlockOne.

When the EOSIO mainnet is running, we will deploy 2 nodes as block producer (1 host + 1 standby), and at least 4 nodes as API service. The hardware configuration is:

Block Producer x 2:

    Instance: AWS EC2 m4.16xlarge
    CPUs: 64 core
    Memory: 256 GB
    Network: 5 Gigabit
    Storage: ESB

API Service x 4:

    Instance: AWS EC2 m5.12xlarge
    CPUs: 48 core
    Memory: 192 GB
    Network: 5 Gigabit
    Storage: ESB

We will deploy nodes in AWS cloud initially, and may potentially employ other cloud host services or IDC servers in the future due to factors such as cost, network, etc.

4. SCALING PLAN

We will promote the hardware configuration to address the scalability requirement. The adjustment details will be based on the recommendations of Block. One and on the needs of the EOSIO mainnet.

Depending on the maturity of the IPFS technology, we may also adopt IPFS blockchain data storage solutions in the future.

Below is the upgraded hardware configuration:

Block Producer x 2:

    Instance: AWS EC2 x1.32xlarge
    CPUs: 128 core
    Memory: 1952 GB
    Network: 5 Gigabit
    Storage: 2 x 1920 SSD

API Service x 4:

    Instance: AWS EC2 m4.16xlarge
    CPUs: 64 core
    Memory: 256 GB
    Network: 5 Gigabit
    Storage: ESB
