Dear fans and haters of Ethereum and Eos.
For some time now I have been watching what is happening in the discussion of Eos and Ethereum supporters. Generally, on twitter, I can see a lot of attacks on the Eos community and wherever the word Eos or block.one appears, haters appears and writes "Eos scam", but when asked what they mean, they can not give any logical arguments. I understand someone may not like it but "a scam"? This rhetoric is quite common. I do not know exactly what it's due to. Is it about the 4 billion $ that has been collected by block.one when distributing Eos tokens? Is it that because Eosio is the most widely used protocol in the world and there is a fear of dethronement of Ethereum? Or maybe it is a strategy of destroying uncomfortable competition?
The fact that Cointelegraph and Coindesk is a propaganda tube of Ethereum is not surprising to me. If its owners have invested heavily in the Ethereum, it is natural that they will defend their investment. But it does not end on these two sources of information. Crypto is used only by less than 1% of the population. With the next global monetary crisis, this will certainly change. And Bitcoin or Ethereum has a chance for mass adoption. But if this crisis does not happen for the next 10 years, the only chance for mass adoption of crypto are the products that will add value to our everyday life. When such products designed for mass adoption appear it will be natural that media like Cointelegraph or Coindesk will no longer matter. Block.one does not focus on 1% of people interested in new technologies. Block.one targets the remaining % of the population and has the vision of thousands of networks communicating with each other. Some private, controlled by one person or a company like Wax, other public decentralized with a management model tailored to the needs of users like Telos.
If you look around in the blockchain space. Eosio is currently the only software, that can meet this vision and is so user-friendly that the number of users and developers is growing organically. Currently, there are approximately 7 networks operating on the Eos io software. And already this year they will be able to communicate with each other using the IBC. Block.one consistently implements his visions. This data screams to you and you pretend you do not see it. Flipside Crypto fundamental date added by CoinMarketCap ranks Eos on the 1st place, CCDI ranking 1st place, blocktivity 1st place, Eosio is going to be used by TapaTalk to server 300 milions users... and so on. Nothing will change fact that some of you write on the twitter "eos is a scam”.
You do not even know what your hate is about. Is it about the company block.one, or is about Eosio software, or Eos mainnet or that someone prefers apples and other oranges?
I am a fan of new technologies, I learned the hard way to see a few new trends prevailing among crypto investors. The common part of these trends is at a certain stage the reality check where 90 % of investors lose.
I am a participant in Ethereum ico and support this project as well, but the attitude of some people in the community discourages me. There is room for success for everyone, but the data shows that the biggest chances for mass adoption are projects built on Eosio. These are not dreams, but the facts that are also perceived by the more open part of the Ethereum community, for example, Bancor, Kyber Network or Loom Network.
Last decision to communicate Loom Network with Eos and Tron is it mature and economically justified decision. The tone of how they had to communicate their decisions was very meaningful. As I read the article, I had the impression that they communicate in a gentle way about their vision, so as not to offend any of the lunatic dreamers/haters but at the same time, they suggested that it is time to wake up and stop myopia.
There are a lot of reasons why Eos mainnet can fail, but Eosio software is already released and it is not possible to stop this revolution. The Eos community is extremely helpful so if there are any doubts, just ask.
Here, the case concerns new technologies, but a distorted picture full of divisions presented by the haters accompanies them in other aspects of life.
The sooner we see the whole picture and accept the reality, the better is going to be our live. Opinions do not change reality. If we do not accept reality, it causes a lot of aggression in us which negatively affects our health, relationships, and finances. Let's leave the illusions and look at the facts.
I have a feeling that June is another reality check ...
