My top 7 choice for EOS Block producer

This is a breakdown of my top BP candidates and why they are on my list. This list is subject of change, but as of today this is how I am going to throw my votes.

  1. eos sw/eden
  2. eosDAC
  3. EOS Rio
  4. HKEOS
  5. EOS Tribe
  6. EOS42
  7. SHEOS

#1 eos sw/eden - website

Eric of eos sw/eden started the first community test-net together with a few other bps. Since then Eric has been helping everyone he is able to, in all the ways he can. He's highly skilled with all aspects of tech and makes of a trustworthy BP with over 10 year experience in enterprise software development and server management. Eos sw/eden have been invited to talk about the future of blockchain on bloxpo, invited to speak at events in China and more.
I think eos sw/eden will be one of the main players connecting the west with asia. Their visit to China was highly appriciated. Except Eric eos sw/eden has a CEO with experience of running multiple successful companies, the latest being a hardware company making wireless earphones. You will also find Sean, which is an marketing expert and will come even more in handy once sw/eden starts working on their planned dapps.

They plan to put their block producing nodes and back-up servers on different locations in Sweden aswell as other northern countries to make the network even more decentralized. This will increase the security and also spread wealth within the community by paying regular people to make sure the servers have as close to 100% uptime as possible. This will of course be overlooked by Eric himself.

#2 eosDAC - website

This one I think is obvious for a lot of people, eosDAC is community owned. The 1:1 airdrop gave them attention and gratitude from the entire community. However, that is not why I am throwing my vote on eos dac. I will throw it because of Michael Yeates, one of the more active players in the community has been a major contributor since the start of the community testnets. He's very clever and skilled in the field of technology. Michael might actually be the most knowledgeable people outside of block.one about how the eos software actually works. With his knowledge and willingness to help and explain how things works for other people, one can't say anything else than that he is very valuable for the community.

#3 EOS Rio - website

Igor... He's the guy to go to when it comes to IT security. EOS Rio started the ghostbusters secure testnet to figure out how to properly secure the eos blockchain. They did this together with HKEOS (#4 on my list). But that is not everything, they also have a testnet open for developers to create and test DApps fast and easy. Igor is building tools to empower the community and optimize EOS performance. The performance and security aspect is very important if eos is going to be adapted by the masses. But he's not alone, the team is filled with skilled players with tons of experience in different areas of IT. Igor also assisted in finding big issues in the eos-bios boot process. EosDAC, HKEOS and sw/eden was a part of both ghostbusters and finding, and fixing the problem with the eos-bios boot process.

#4 HKEOS - website

Their involvement in creating the ghostbusters test net is enough for me to put them on this list. We need as many skilled people as we can when it comes to security on the eos blockchain. They also run an incubator for the development of DApps, and will use their rewards to help finance this. More DApps, means more potential airdrops and well funded projects which can and will help us build a strong community. They are also offering tech advice to everyone that asks. My highest priorities are transparency, security, usability and speed of the eos blockchain, and HKEOS will help with that.

#5 EOS Tribe - website

EOS tribe helped building the ghostbuster test net, and figuring out how to properly secure the blockchain. For me, as I stated before, this is one very important aspect of whom gets my votes. They prioritize the people of the eos community and will always put the blockchain and it's security before any other dutys. Their words "We will never waiver from our duty of keeping the EOS network stable and secure because of our commitment to the people on the network we serve.". For EOS Tribe, the transparency is more important than any position, which is why they will provide a public EOS wallet address for anyone to audit what they do, and also suggest that other BP's do the same. These are the kind of people I would like to see running the network, their priorities are where they should be.

#6 EOS42 - website

Charles from EOS42 is killing it when it comes to DDos testing for the community. EOS42 comes with a great understanding of what is required to protect the blockchain from outside attacks. Also being a part of the ghostbusters network, and being a part of the community testnet since January, we can with trust them with delivering on what they promise. They have posted a well written EOS BP constitution which is really nice. They will provide 6 monthly independent security audits on the EOS blockchain to ensure its level of security.

#7 SHEOS - website

This is an all female team of highly skilled players in the EOS community. They all have a very impressive list of achievements. They plan on having nodes all over the world, already have in different countries in europe. They are openly collaborating with other bp's to always do whats best for the community. They also plan to do scholarships with rewards from being a BP, which is awesome for the future of the community. We can never have to many skilled players in the new world of blockchain. Their primary goals goes well in line with mine "our primary responsibility is to ensure the rapid, responsive, dependable and trustworthy performance that will result in widespread adoption of the EOS network.". And them being a part of the ghostbusters network, you can easily trust that we put our trust in capable hands that understand the level of detail and precision required for the level of security we want on the eos blockchain.

This is my personal favorites as of today (june 2nd 2018). They are all subject to change if I learn something that I don't know already. I have a few more options where I will throw my votes, and if you want I could set up a list of more BPs and why I am going to give them my votes.

I hope this was to some help for you guys

Best regards
