ƒractally (fractally.com) serves as the next generation of decentralized autonomous organizations, jumpstarting the original vision that was originally presented for EOS in 2017. They do this by combining a blockchain powered decentralized exchange, social media network, and high-performance smart contract platform with fractal democracy, the most advanced decentralized governance process in the market.
This vision brings together all the lessons learned from the first two blockchains: BitShares and Hive (originally Steem). Bitshares was the first self funded and self governing DAC exchange that was pioneering the DeFi space back in 2013. Using all of that, Fractally can now incorporate lessons about decentralized governance which Dan Larimer outlined in his book, “More Equal Animals — The Subtle art of True Democracy”. The model has been tested successfully with the creation of Eden EOS in 2021 where the fractal voting process has been implemented for multiple elections to date which involved hundreds of people.

ƒractally has already announced the release of Mandel 3.0 RC1 as it hits its first milestone which was released on schedule, on the road to the first community driven hard fork. This release builds on the EOSIO 2.0 codebase and pulls in the best features from EOSIO 2.1. Once deployed Mandel will enable larger contracts that run faster than ever. This enables the community to be able to begin testing the first community funded upgrade to EOS.
