EOS Lost Private Key Group

The following post is an update from the EOS Lost Private Group on Telegram. Basically it is a copy of the pinned message from the telegram group which currently has over a 1000 members and climbing daily. As an aside, the petition that accompanies the telegram group has over 900 signatures also and should hit the 1000 mark soon.

Added to this, 28 Block Producers have signed the petition or have given their support to our group and are actively helping to resolve our situation. We are enormously thankful to all the BPs that have given their time to help us in what is a very busy period for for them, given all the challenges that a blockchain faces upon launch.

Had a discussion with a top BP who said sudo function is a matter of "when not so much if." He agreed that we should focus our energy on drumming up support for getting sudo implemented as it will help not only us, but a lot others in the community. Also, that sudo was gaining steam until about a week when issues like Ram and referendum took over. It has been added to this Thursday's BP call (8/2). I believe EOS Detroit will be live streaming it.

Rohan - EOSauthority: Yes. Sounds like a good plan. Next milestone is to unlock the unregistered users. We can take what we learn from it to visit the lost key case. PROTECTING YOUR ETH PRIVATE KEY IS PARAMOUNT. IT'S LIKELY GOING TO BE THE CORNERSTONE OF A POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOR US.
