War Torn Yemen Facing 'The Worst Cholera Outbreak In The World': UN

Yemen, a country torn apart by violence and reeling under the curse of famine is facing another, more sinister danger which looks like it is getting out of hand. International health experts working for the UN released a statement last Saturday which said:

We are now facing the worst cholera outbreak in the world....

As per their report, Yemen today has over 200,000 cases of cholera confirmed and over 1300 people have died so far. Added to that is the alarming fact that new cases are being reported daily at the rate of around 5000 a day. At this rate, it is estimated that the country may soon be inundated with this dreaded affliction if drastic measures are not taken immediately.

This is terrible, I thought Cholera was cured, but I guess only if you have access to the right supplies.

it's horrible what the U.S. and Saudi Arabia are doing there !
