I have a serious question, from one individual in a related field to the next.

I find the media fascinating. It all started years ago when I was in my twenties. One day something struck me and I suddenly snapped out of it. Became an observer rather than a consumer. Combined with my ability to disconnect from all things society and distance myself from any groups conditioned in one way or another to think the same or a certain way, it has become so easy to just stand back; watch and analyze. And when it comes to hobbies, I'd place this up there with the best of them; but that's all a story for another day.

My question is business related. Over the years many independent media and entertainment types (regardless of subject matter) were afforded the luxury of sadistic algorithms doing all the hard work, placing content in front of specific targeted markets. It made life easy for those wishing to be on stage. Majority of the consumers didn't really know what hit them; didn't realize they'd been corralled into echo chambers. As time progresses, more and more they'd become distant from what could be considered an outside world.

Many who come to a decentralized media platform void of manipulative robots directing traffic, who had grown accustomed to having the invisible machine hold their hand, still quite often attempt the same approach without making any adjustments.

So I'm wondering if at any point, writing a headline like that, and then publishing it on a decentralized media platform, feels awkward?
