Created by math prodigy Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum is second only to Bitcoin in the hierarchy of cryptocurrencies. Ethereum’s blockchain not only validates a set of accounts and balances but also states. This means that Ethereum can not only process transactions but complex contracts and programs.
This flexibility makes Ethereum the perfect instrument for distributed computing. In February 2017, Ethereum organization announced the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA). It is aimed at developing enterprise-focused solutions with the open-source Ethereum as a basis but that are, in some cases, more privacy-oriented. Conversely, the idea is to create a kind of positive feedback loop that leads to improvements of the public blockchain protocol as well.
There are major Fortune 500 companies, Microsoft, Intel, JP Morgan, BP, Samsung to name a few, that are all currently exploring Ethereum.
It is my believe that by late 2018, Erethereum will increase in value, possibly past the $1000 USD mark. Support for it is increasing and so the future looks bright for Erethereum.
My reccomendation: Invest a secure amount into Erethereum and hold it. at least 1 Erethereum coin should be invested in because any less and your long term profits will be minmal.
Watch the market, as Erethereum tends to increase and decrease in value often. Do not let this make you question the cryptocurrency. These currencies are designed to be long term investments. For example, Bitcoin in 2012 was worth pocket money, but over the years and through many fluctuations, grew in value. Short investments are complicated and I will discuss my strategies in a later article but long term investing is a reliable method so long as you keep an eye on the market forecast.
