I'm so freaking stoked about this. PROGRESS!!! I have been working HARD on this self-publishing thing. There is so much to learn, so many hoops to jump through and so much to DO for each and every book.
- Cover design is crazy important, but I'm fortunate that I already had some graphic design skills (even if it's all self-taught).
- Blurbs are one of my weaknesses. I HATE writing blurbs and I'm (thus far) really shitty at it.
- The writing comes easy, but the editing and formatting is hard for me to focus on.
- I want to branch out and write in other genres, but I'm still in the learning stage, so it seems like all of my time is spent trying to keep up.
- Erotica is hard to advertise, because a lot of sites, including FB and Amazon doesn't allow advertising for erotica, so that's been a challenge.
