RE: Abstractions In A World Of Distractions Part 4: Psychedelic Warlords Ride The Sound Time Continuum

How fascinating! I love the idea that emotions each have a resonant frequency. I think sound can be powerful and healing.
I was lucky enough to travel to Ladakh in the 1990s, and I visited some of the Buddhist monasteries there. When the monks are chanting it resonates so powerfully that you can literally feel it.
It's also interesting that when I was a teenager, we had a family dog, a Jack Russell, and if me and my sister sang out a very high-pitched tone, he would raise his head and start howling, as if compelled to do so.
I need to get back to meditating. I used to meditate while listening to Tibetan singing bowls on YouTube. I just find those sounds so powerful!

Hey @natubat thank you for taking the time to read and leave such a great comment, I really appreciate it. I equally and genuinely believe in the power of sound, the harmonics of the monks are refined alternating pitches that induce deeper states of mind and can indeed fuel inner healing. Those chants have been carefully selected and refined over hundreds of year and they hold a genuine and palpable power. I did write another post which went a bit deeper into that aspect, in case you missed it I've attached it below. Thanks again my friend.
