It is a good to take advice, but not order, unless from your boss that will not undermine your existence. Take information, idea, thoughts of others but don't follow it directly rather ponder on it, meditate, reflect and reframe it as you want, to suit your purpose. Then take action based on what you have seen, but must be product of your own conclusions (what you think)

Philosophy, as major determining factors, how your life work out. You are shaped by your own view, how you use your mind, process idea, experience, school, parent, neighbours. Since they are part of us, they determine what you will become.
But we rather blame others, parent, teacher and government. Instead of checking yourself, looking at what could be done to make things right and stop asking why. People tend to blame, company, employers, salaries received not enough and things are too cost. The problem here is your own personal philosophy and it is what shape and differences us from animals. Human being is so dynamic not static (how do one go about this (thought ) your philosophy. It helps us process what we see, hear, touch, feel when you arrived into this world I believe nobody come with anything on arrival in the world. But we get to know, become what we become by using what we use around us by refining our philosophy (think) then the result will always be positive. 
If you want to be successful, there is need for you to stop blaming everything. change; process all the information you receive, your experience and others, including those that have lived before you. In most cases, there might be few errors in your own judgement about life, people, situations and other stuff. It is now left for you to ask what are the errors in my judgement and what is it going to cost me in couple years? Not by blaming everything you see around you, country not good, bad government, community and school messed up. But you have to realise that it is not always true, it will be too late before you acknowledge that you were just criticing what I need to work with. You really have to change your mentality how you see things around and process it to suit your purpose.
Failure lies in error in your own judgment about life and what you see, lacking in developing your own philosophy and then disaster. Some people think so little, not what will happen couple years, tomorrow, not week.
A few errors in judgement repeated every day lead to down and great disaster. You have to be smarter in you own philosophy, just because disaster didn't follow your actions now doesn't mean it won't come later. And ask what it is going to cost you, success cost, money cost, health costs. Learn but always process the idea to shape your own future as a product of your own conclusions.
Discipline and practice everyday. Keep up the process, it will surely boom and lead to greatest success by replacing the errors with discipline. Then stop using these few words, won't, don't, could and should, they thrive failure, you must get rid of them. Engaged with personal changed, never allow potential disaster cloud your judgement. You don't need to ask for another country, planet, government, people to effect change, but ask to your personal philosophy, which will turn around things for good, income, money and you become capable, influential but you need to appreciate what you see, never blame nor condemn too much rather be an agent of change.
