Postponement of polling in two centers in Khulna

So far, polling in two centers has been postponed for Khulna city corporation elections. The polling was suspended for two polling stations in the two centers for filing of ballot and irregularities.

It has been learned that the presiding officer Ziaul Haque announced the closure of the Fatema High School center at around 10:30 am on the charge of making a fake vote.

Besides, on the charge of irregularities, the posting of the government's Iqbal Nagar Secondary School suspended at 11:30 pm, the district assistant returning officer Anisur Rahman.

Returning Officer Yunuich Ali said that the presiding officer of the center stopped the voting center.

Apart from this, at least five out of five centers have been found to report vandalism and disorder in the election camp of the BNP candidate.

Earlier this morning the voting began at 8am. Polling will continue until 4pm. In the morning, Awami League candidate Talukder Abdul Khaleq (boat) and BNP mayor candidate Nazrul Islam Manju (head of rice) voted in his own center.
