There are so many long dead steemians in this community and most left after steem price went sour for them. But maybe most really cannot sustain their blogging efforts running out if ideas to post about or maybe just got disheartened about their post payouts.
But there is nothing like steem community in terms of earning because what you just need is a love for blogging with your own niche to share, it can be your skills, arts and crafts, your life stories, funny subjects and messages, basically anything we can just share in here.
After that we can meet people with like-minded works that we can appreciate and interact with then there goes the fun as time passes by you can see some results piling up, it may came small at first.
Some key factors are just to be consistent and persevering since not reall al your works could get rewarded within your expectations and also to never lose heart because cryptos just goes in cycles, there is an accumulation phase and then there is the time to sell.
Right now is the accumulation phase because steem is under a dollar and powering it up 100% could get you more steem.
Anyway, as soon as BTC goes even higher I am almost certain that steem will also follow suit like it is doing today. Then people again will flock to steem community particularly the long dead ones that had left and will now be like bees hungry for nectar.
I could also foresee that the EOS-based social media will help catapult steem's price because people will get another opportunity to use EOS social media earnings to buy more steem. Now that is the scenario that I anticipate that will make both platforms as bullish as a Narwhal's pointy tooth.
So do we have to worry about EOS-based social media? My personal answer is a flying "no we don't" it will instead another opportunity for us all and it gets exciting everyday because of the technology of EOS blockchain regarding solving the woes of many from the steem system but we shall see if the EOS system can be found with loopholes to game its supposed better system.
But one thing is for sure that we can enjoy another opportunity to help us with our lives with the use of both STEEM and EOS social media in our lives like it is already doing to me thanks to the wonderful friends of mine here in the background. May Godd bles you all.
