Not my best images, but this little fellow started to hide behind leaves as soon as he spotted the camera.
Does anyone know the name of this insect? I tried Google but that only revealed the name of the plant.

In vernacular or visayan language we called it "gangis" but when I googled it it was called in english cricket insect. Am I hit the right answer?
I googled. My best guess is the Katydid
No idea. Unless it's a cicada. That's my wild guess. But by the looks of google images of cicadas, it probably isn't.
Supposedly according to your photo, it is a leafhopper, an insect belonging to the family Cicadellidae, however there is a great variety of insects belonging to this family, According to your photo and comparing with the images of google I am between that is a Gyponana, or an Aphrodes makarovi. Of insects I do not know much, I hope it's some of the ones I suggest, and if you do not find the name elsewhere
@pyiom, @insaneworks, @rachelcreative thanks for helping me trying to find the name of this insect.
After taking a good look at all the names mentioned, I am strongly leaning towards Rachel's suggestion: Gyponana
It is amazing how many variations there are of this insect.
