A Family that stays together is very strong, even there are so many times or should i say every minutes this family always fight hahaha! Well as far as i remember year 2014 when my sister inlaw ate Michelle had a vacation here in philippines and after a years again she decided to come back home for a vacation only this time she bring her kids with her, to meet and great their cousins, Tito and Titas.
As expected we are so noisy like the old times hahaha! if you where here or if you are my neighborhood first thing comes to your mind that this family always fighting becuase of the loud and noisy voice come to our house, but im telling you this is just normal to us haha. Filipino family is the most family oriented as far as im concern since we are motivated to work hard for our family and keep our family united and full of love.
Since theres a Balikbayan and we all now that if you are filipino pasalubong is always the next!
Pasalubong
It is a Filipino tradition of travellers, When bringing gifts from their destination to people back home.
On this Episode i will be sharing a haul blog post that my sister in law bring Pasalubong for me. Note that this haul is what usually balikbayan have to their baggage and bring Pasalubong to their families.
So tha first thing that i got here are this gelatine based on the picture, since all of the discriptions is written in islamic letters. They say this is good and ill gonna try this soon.
Next, are this 4 pcs bread i think this are from the aiport and they don't have time to eat hahaha!
Next, is this Mens Dubai T-shirt most of the Balikbayan include this to their Pasalubong bucket list a way of bringing Dubai clothes to their hometown.
Balikbayan is a:
Filipino overseas worker, who has been continuously out of the Philippines for a period of at least one (1) year or more than 1 year. sometimes it is based on their contracts.
Lets back again to my Haul, the next item that i got here is this, bluetooth headset, this was given to my husband since loves listening to music so much.
Next, are this Oil Based Perfumes The Armani, Escada and the last one is the cool water, we love all the scents and we new that these kinds of perfumes are very pricey here in my country but in Dubai this is just cheaper.
Next, is this la laque gel nail polish mint green color, im not a avid fun of this color but since this nail polish is from my sister in law i might consider to use this, and i made a cute nail art out of this nail polish. This la laque gel nail polish cost 13.99$ in amazon and i got shocked with the price, quite expensive here in philippines it cost 744 pesos.
The next item that i got is this, Sweet Rose Matte lipstick in the shade of Nude. Below is the swatched as you can see very light on my skin tone can compared to a lip balm and perfect for everyday used.
Next, is this Eyeliner Pencil and Lip Liner Pencil Would you imagined that you can wear a GREEN Lip liner when you go outside, Hahaha totally im not going to wear this on my lips, but the good thing here since i am creative enough i just made this a eyeliner too. much better on my eyes.
The most awaited part are this two items Chocolates The Toblerone and Hershey's Bar chocolates, Chocolates in Dubai are much more than cheaper compare here in my country. Thats why many of the Balikbayan's hoard bunch of chocolates when they are going to come back home.
Next, is this cute Black canvas bag printed with Dubai words and the Burj Khalifa the most popular skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. How i wished i can go there, This is one of my travel bucket list!
Down to the last 2 items are this, Fashionable Jewerly earings and bracelet, im not a fan of jewelries but since this is a gift might use it as well perfect for every day used, Opps! earings only is perfect for everyday used not the bracelet its kinda good to others eyes. (referring to thief)
