1st May is the international workers day.may day is an international holiday of working people.this may day has a history.it is recognised in all the counties of the world.because of the sacrifice of the martyred workers in 1886.for their sacrificed,we are getting more facilities today.we are getting many facilities such as
1.today we are getting a minimum wage,
2.they have job security,
3.they have safety laws,
4.eight hours working time etc.
On 3 may,1886, police fired into a crowd of strikers at the mccomick harvest machine company,chicago.in that strike they killed one man and seriously injured to 5 or 6 man.
From the beginning of the industrial Revolution people have to work very hard and long shift.it can be 14hours.
May day gas been a symbol for workers all over the world.we need to respect them.from their sacrificed we have got today.we are getting our rights.we need to save that sacrificed.we will have to come forward in future,if we face trouble.may day is celebrated in every country with great pleasure.
