RE: Thai Photo Contest: impact of Covid19 at the railway station,โควิด19กับสถานีรถไฟหัวลำโพง

in #esteem4 years ago

The fear from the virus is not yet spreading so much here. For some reason I still can see people walking outside like nothing happened, although we are in state of emergency and asked to stay home. Regarding masks there was a dispute whether they really can help or not. First the Minister of Health ordered everybody to wear a mask and who does not to be fined. Same day he canceled the order, but advised the people for their own good to wear masks when they are outside. It is not pleasant, but when I am out walking the dog I put the mask.
Today on the news the prime minister said we have to expect next weeks to be the worst.

Stay safe and healthy!

Thank you so much for your sympathy on the situation. I think wearing masks are very essential in reducing the spread of the infection.

Luckily, Thai people have been wearing facial masks to protect themselves from very serious air pollution last year! That's probably why there was no infected persons last year during the high season of Chinese tourism here.

The virus arrived here by people who went for holidays in Japan and South Korea in December; and from foreign tourists in the winter.

It is getting worse because of super spreaders traveling around the country! Limited quarantine is helpful. But people must improve their immune systems.

Take care.
