In recent days, the conflict between Israel and Iran in Syria has been increasingly tapered. Israel accuses Iran of permanently placing troops in Syria after ISIS is defeated. Then there was an Israeli Jet fighter incident that was shot down when it would destroy Iran's weaponry shot down by Syrian anti-aircraft weapons.

Israel was angry over the actions of Iran flying unmanned surveillance aircraft into their airspace. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement threatening Iran.
"Israel will not allow the regime to strangle us with terror, we will act if necessary, not only on Iran's allies but against Iran itself," Netanyahu said.
The Iranian threat is reciprocated by Iran's ridicule. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called the collapse of an F-16 plane undermine Israel's unbeatable myth.
Both countries are tense. The Israeli military might not be underestimated. But Iran is also known as the Persian lion. After Iraq was crushed by conflict, they were one of the greatest powers in the Persian Gulf.
The globalfirepower website noted Iran is in the 21st position of the world, while Israel is 15th. Iran is ahead in the number of active military personnel. Iran's armed forces are currently estimated at 534,000 plus 400,000 reserve components. In total 934,000 people.
While Israel has 168,250 active military personnel plus 550,000 reserve personnel. The total reached 718,250 people.

Land Strength
Israel is far superior to armored fighting vehicles. They have at least 2,620 tanks, most of which are domestically made Merkava Tanks. This tank has proven battle proven in every battle.
While Iran has only 1616 tanks. Most are heavily modified Iranian domestic industrial tanks such as the T-72Z Safir-74. There are also Soviet era tanks like T-54/55, T-62 and T-72.
Israel also has no less than 10,000 armored vehicles. While Iran has only 1315 alone.
Iran is superior in the number of artillery. They have 2,000 field guns while Israel is only 300.
Sea Power
Iran who claims to be a Persian Gulf guard is pretty toothed in the sea. They have 33 submarines.
Three kilo-class submarines are made in Russia. They also have been able to make a submarine in the country. There are several types, among others, Ghadir with a weight of 120 tons and Yugo with a weight of 90 tons.
Iran also has 3 corvettes, 230 patrol boats and 10 minesweepers.
While Israel has 6 submarines, 32 patrol boats and 3 corvettes.
Air Power

Israel recorded 242 fighter jets and 243 the number of attack jets.
Israel relies on F-15, F-15 E Strike Eagle and F-16 C / D / I. Most recently, they already have nine F-35 Lighting and are ordering 50 more pieces to their closest ally, the United States.
While Iran has 137 fighter jets and ground attack jets with almost the same number. They rely on MiG-29 Fulcrum and Dasault Mirage F-1. The Iranian Air Force also modernized the F-14 Tomcat they bought in 1974 from the United States.
In 2016, Iran was able to launch a Saeqeh HESA fighter manufactured domestically. Iranian media reported there were 30 units of double-winged rear wing is ready for combat.
On paper, Israel's air power far exceeds Iran. The Israeli Air Force has also been recorded to have never lost a battle in the air since 1967. They knocked out an Arab state coalition fighter without meaningful resistance.
So it can be understood the excitement of Iran when the Syrian army that supported it managed to bring down the Israeli F-16s. They dismissed the myth of the Israeli air force
