Recreate life's strings to weave your own path.
The title of this post Recreate life's strings to weave your own path is a saying by .Diana Matoso, which I came across somewhere recently and feel its quite a good one, Sometimes we feel our life is controlled by the forces about us and we have no choice but be the puppet and let those around us pull our strings, and I think its good to step back at times and decide to take control of our own strings or as the saying states, recreate or reweave them into the way we want to be.
If you think you have clicked on the wrong post instead, no it is me and I am equally shocked I have started a post with a saying and my thoughts on it, and no there is nothing big going on in my life at the moment that makes this relevant to me now, but there have been times in my life I have had to stop and take stock of where I was and where I wanted to be heading so this saying has been apt for me at times in my life, now, for the most part, I am happy with where I am and controlling for the most part the strings
I have used the tag Thoughfuldailypost created by @wesphilbin as I did tell him I would use it one day :)
OK lets get back to regular programming and share a few photos< sometimes I am so busy focusing on the bigger things for photos I miss focusing in on some of the small details like if I am at a marina I will focus on the Boats in the marina or the whole marina, in this post I am sharing some smaller details and all related to string or rope, Starting with this neatly wound up rope.

Thanks I loved that quote when I came across recently so I had to find some shots to go with it in a post ;)
Thanks for the support
Thanks for the resteem appreciated
That is a pretty neatly wound rope there! I bet my buddy would love it if I took that much care with the ropes on his boat! His anchor one is getting pretty bad and cut my hand up last time we went fishing!
Ohh yes and the cool thing is this is just one of four ropes that were laid out so neatly around this boat

That's a neat saying. Sometimes we not just need to weave our own path, but reweave it, and sometimes we just need to follow where it's leading!
YEs your right sometimes what we have weaved in the past is o longer best for us so a reweave is needed And ther eis never a 100% right or wrong way we just need to find the right way for us at the time and be flexible
Well, that was a nice diversion. The marina is certainly a great place to look for small details.
Thanks I came across the saying a week or so ago so had to go and find some shots that would go well with it :)
You certainly succeeded!
Thanks Kindly Have a great day
You really need to put #thoughtfuldailypost tag on these awesome insightful posts. Maybe even come to #pypt and pimp them too!
I have my patented belated #wednesdaywalk post hitting the presses this morning too.
Posted using Partiko iOS

Like the boat line theme...They call rope a line in boating.. Have you heard the term ...throw me a line....
Thanks I Liked the saying so had too go find shots to match it and a walk around the marina worked for that
And I didnt know that about them being called a line tanks for sharing
If a nail breaks a thread, then no one can pull you on that thread. It is necessary to stock up on nails. Just in case : )))
Another good saying :)
May be :-))
I love that saying. I think it's so important to "weave one's own path" and that's why I decided not to have a conventional 9-5 job after being bullied at work years ago. It wasn't easy, but it was definitely the right decision!
I'm not sure if the link to the photos of ropes, which are woven, was deliberate, but it works! It's fascinating to look closely at the detail of ropes, which are woven differently according to their use.
My attention was drawn to this recently when I bought my first climbing rope. I was quite staggered at the different types of ropes, and how important it is to choose the right type for the kind of climbing you want to use it for.
Its great to here you have woven your own path :)
and yes the photos were deliberate I saw the saying a week or two ago. Thank and went out for walks looking for shots that would fit with te saying :)
And do now about climbing ropes and all te different types and how important it is to get the right one for what you need, not for climbing in my case but doing rigging on Telecommunications towers a few years back
Goodness! Ropes are so taken for granted. They are literally lifelines.
Ohh yes they can be so important so often

Your creativity used nautical ropes to create an interesting post! A shining example of the quote "[r]ecreate life's strings to weave your own path." in action.
Thanks kindly not sure I will be so thoughtful with writing often 😂
Your welcome. So, you were just stringing us along. lol
LOl Nice play on words there ;)
Interesting article and very nice photos.
I thought about the saying a bit and was wondering what it meant in my life right now.
As I'm traveling in a van, not working, I feel like on rare occasions, I had no motivation to "weave something myself" and the strings were just lying around. These were some akward moments but they showed me that it's also important to have a friendly framework around you in your everyday life that supports you in times where you have no motivation left.
I mean didn't everybody at some point had a bad morning, where one just wanted to go to bed again but didn't because (s)he had to go to work. And then realizing (s)he had one of the most productive or fullfilling days.
So maybe sometimes you have no choice but to be the puppet.
But often enough, the people on your side pulling the strings are doing an amazing job and you can be greatful for that. ;D
Such a great comment and yes sometimes you have to be the puppet and some days when you have no motivation can surprise you when the day turns around
I think if like you are traveling and not working as such you have already set off on your own path and making your own choices fir the day
I think all of us are in some ways the puppet and in other ways our own puppet master it’s up to each of us to choose where the balance Is between the two
Yes, it's so important to find the right balance between the two!
I just feel that most of the people at the moment feel they're on the puppet side.
That sometimes gives me the feeling that there is no other side and that the rule for freedom is: the more the better!
But I think I realized now that there is something like too much freedom.
(Still only occuring rarely)
It can be exhausting to decide every little (or big) thing you do every day.
btw: sorry for the late answer, I had problems logging into steem,
I think because of the HF...
Have a great day and the right balance of puppet and master ;)
No worries fir the late answer we all had issues with Steemit for a few days
I think your right as with everything too much is not always a good thing even with Freedom the challenge is getting the right balance
