Attention: These foods color the teeth

in #esteem6 years ago

Everyone wants his teeth to be white and healthy. But not everyone knows that the biggest enemy of a 24-carat smile is food.

Most of the foods we consume on a daily basis contain highly pigmented molecules called chromogens that change the color of our teeth as they adhere to their surface. Of course, we should not completely stop their consumption, but it is desirable to limit it, especially if we want to keep our teeth white for longer.

  1. Fruits
Blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries. All of them are so delicious and useful, but unfortunately their consumption leads to instant staining of the teeth, which can last for long if not removed. Therefore, when we eat them, it is desirable to frown our mouth with water and wash our teeth.

  2. Red beet
Red beet is the source of so many vitamins and minerals that it is simply unforgivable to exclude it from its menu. Unfortunately, its dark red color results in a significant change in the color of the teeth. Therefore, it is desirable to limit consumption, and every time we are tempted, we eat it and wash our teeth to reduce the effect.

  3. Tomato sauce
Tomato sauce, Lutenitsa, ketchup and others. Here again we talk about a large group of foods that include tomatoes. These foods are rich in acid and their regular use disturbs the enamel of the teeth, which leads to their darkening.

  4. Curry
This spicy spice has an immediate effect on the teeth - leaving them with a yellowish hue. It is therefore necessary to wash your teeth after you have taken it, without delaying it.

  5. Marinated products
Sour cucumbers, pickles and all other marinated products with a sour taste lead to disruption of the enamel and the appearance of dental stains.

  6. Biscuits
Most of the crackers have refined carbohydrates that convert to sugars. They are extremely damaging to teeth, as they cause tooth decay, and lead to coloring.
