Here's what life is doing in space with your brain

As if the astronauts do not have enough trouble on their heads - for their regret, a new study found another danger to their health that would hurt them during their long journey to the stars. It turns out that long periods of staying in space cause tissue to expand in the upper part of the brain.

So far, it is still unclear what real effects such a swelling can cause and whether there will be noticeable effects on it, but one thing is clear - Mars's colonizers will be delighted with the prospect.

The NASA survey was conducted on 34 astronauts who participated in short-term and long-term missions of the International Space Station or traveled with a space shuttle. The swelling was very pronounced for those of the astronauts who have been involved in long-term missions.
