1. Old Town

Built between the 13th and 16th centuries, this colorful place with gabled houses and grandiose churches is, no doubt, the city's biggest tourist attraction. Tallinn’s Old Town is divided into two areas: the lower town, is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the upper town, also called Toompea.

Considered the heart of the Old Town, the Town Hall Square is surrounded by charming cafes and restaurants that during the summer place their tables around the square, making the moments with friends and family even more enjoyable.

Besides the towers, Tallinn has more than 20 churches, most of them located in the Old Town. Don't miss the medieval churches like St. Olav’s and the Cathedral Saint Alexandre Nevsky that are true works of art and have architecture rich in details. 2. Telliskivi

Telliskivi Creative City is one of the most popular areas of Tallinn and is located in the charming Kalamaja neighborhood. Very close to Old Town, there are only a few steps away, Telliskivi has transformed a former industrial complex into studio spaces, creative business offices, cool restaurants, art cafés and beer bars specializing in local and international craft beer.

When you are in Telliskivi, take time to visit the Balti Jaam Turg. This complex is one of the most modern Estonian markets and offers an incredible variety of shopping and leisure options for tourists, such as clothing stores, travel souvenirs, stalls with fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese and spices stores and a variety of meats and fish fresh. Besides that, it is possible to find delicious street foods, cafes and an excellent brewery.

3. Kadriorg Park

Kadriorg Park is the most urban park in Tallinn and originated as a summer residence of the Russian Tsar Peter the Great. With more over 70 hectares of land, the most popular places for a stroll in the park are the flower beds surrounding the Swan Pond and the sidewalk leading from there to the president's palace. There are many museums in the park, including KUMU (Estonian Art Museum), Kadriorg Art Museum and the Mikkeli Museum.

4. Pirita beach

Pirita is one of the best places you can go when summer arrives. With the city's most popular beach, a pleasant adventure park and the yacht harbor, this place is the summer fun destination in Tallinn. Just a few kilometers from the Old Town and Kesklinn, Pirita has incredible and beautiful nature and also to refresh the scent of the trees. So do not miss this place so nice for the hottest Estonian days.
