Threats of lawsuits from DAO investors were sent to the Ethereum foundation developers.
Without giving any statement the Ethereum foundation sent 500.000 & 250.000 $ETC to Poloniex and Kraken exchange.
Thanks to the integrity of Poloniex and Kraken for freezing these stolen funds from the DAO crowdfund.
7 hours After the fact that the coins sent to exchanges were frozen only THEN did the Ethereum foundation come out with a public statement:
