So basically there was a hardfork a week ago. And poloniex just added support to ETC trading. So for every ETH you own you will get ETC. For example I had 35 ETH in Poloniex and now I have 35 ETC too. If your ETH isn't in poloniex then you can simply send it there and it will automatically give you ETC with 1:1 ratio.
I traded my ETCs for a quick btc. IT was 160k sats for 1 ETC earlier but it is going down really really fast.
