ETC - Ethereum Classic Gets Its Own Decentralized Exchange

With all the other news going on in Japan and Mt. Gox its hard to hear anything else going on today.

But ETC - Ethereum Classic which was before Ethereum(ETH) is getting its own decentralized exchange come Saturday called Radex.

While others might report that it was the result of a DAO hack I still find that story hard to believe. But otherwise ETC and ETH are the same coin but ETH has more advancements on the blockchain then ETC has. However this gives me high hopes that Radex will be allowing ETH as one of the primary coins to trade with on this new decentralized exchange as well.

Radex is the first ever 0% fee decentralized exchange for ERC223 Tokens. Think of it as ERC20 tokens but with some added advantages.

Saturn network is behind this project which should do very well. However I fear being that it is the first of its kind we are going to his some bumpy spots along the way. The biggest of which the exchange actually runs on the Ethereum blockchain which allows to easy access but also helps to regulate "ownership" so no one person or persons holds majority control. When I hear this I think good, but I also think of how large of a ledger you might have and how much of the blockchain will it take up ?

Don't misinform people. Ethereum Classic is the original Ethereum chain. It is not beta software.

Not trying to misinform nor would I ever but there are countless stories out there.

So ETC actually had millions of ethereum stolen from it via DAO. That means ETC still has the results of the hack that stole millions of ETC while ETH has the reverted code where that massive hack is opted out of. This would still make me a bit skeptical of ETC just saying

Good reasoning, but it is not a reason to say etc is beta. They keep working to integrate changes from eth into the etc code. That's not a beta software, but an alternative one.

Your reasons are more about ethics, while that has nothing to do with a software being beta (software which could still have some bugs but that is released so public can test it).

Understood last time I checked on ETC the news was it was beta and its why they rolled into ETH with the updates for the blockchain. Didn't have the new info till I just looked it up so I thank you for brining it to my attention. Updating post as well

Thanks. There is a fight between eth fans and etc fans. The same as it is happening with BTC and bch. There is interested misinformation out there. Very glad you don't want to join their fight. Thank you again.
