Ethereum is a heavy potential currency from the very beginning. But for now, it would not be so great for investment purpose. There are a lot of other currencies out there which have the potential to outgrow even ethereum.
As I am a crypto trader, I do technical analysis of all potential growing cryptos. From my experience, ripple would be a great investment as of today, comparatively ethereum. Ethereum has lost its charm and now it'll become stagnant or it'll fall thats for sure. It's better to focus on Digibyte, Ripple, Nxt, Steem and Sia Coin than on Ethereum.
