Ethereum Classic posted the new logo on Twitter August 7th. In my opinion, the symbolism is awesome! I won't go in to ETC's story, as you can easily find out how Ethereum Classic came to be on the internet; but I will say there is a huge message in this new logo. I was around when Ethereum hard forked and Ethereum Classic was created. I held the ETC that was given to me because of the fork (much the same as the recent BTC/BCH hard fork) for several months and watched it's value decrease. I finally gave in and traded the original ETC I had received for ETH and didn't think much about Ethereum Classic again for quite some time.
Then about 4 months ago, I did some checking on what was going on with Ethereum Classic. After some research, I liked what I was finding and got back on the ETC train. I am now a proponent of Ethereum Classic (among others). I like what they stand for and where they are heading. The new logo, to me, symbolizes Ethereum Classic's rise from the ashes and big things to come! I highly recommend you research Ethereum Classic. What it is, where it came from and where it is headed. In my opinion, ETC is a sleeping giant about to wake up! Check out the new ETC phoenix logo below and let me know what you think...
