What you see here is that no matter how you look at it, if you bought at or below the trend lines, you are likely profitable at this point.
That is a bold and true claim on a day after ETH just dropped a 'whopping' 46.67% from its all time high recently!
Falling ETH Price and ICOs:
If you plan to buy the upcoming ICOs with the ETH you have been holding or the new ETH you need to buy to participate, it doesn't matter too much as the offering price of the ICO is likely being adjusted to reflect the most recent median ETH trading prices.
However, if you are the issuer of an ICO - something we are undertaking right now - it would be a good idea to consider your timing to avoid the days when ETH prices are at their run-away highs, which happen regularly. The recent ICO issuers when ETH was trading above $400 are wishing they have delayed their ICOs untill now.
Well, that's one more thing to be worried about as an entrepreneur.
BTC:
Nothing really new to say. Please check previous posts.
ETH:
Why is ETH dropping? Fake news about Vitalik's death? Network congestion? Coinbase glitches?
Who cares!
Just look at the charts. They went up, a little ahead of its time, now it's time to get back to a 'reasonable' price (oversimplified by the trend line here). That's it!
The reasons for the falling price could be all of the above, plus a million other little ones. Being able to explain a stock or a token's daily movements is not required to get rich by trading, or investing.
Buy some ETH now at this current price when its dancing around the trend line. What if it keeps going lower? It can, and you can always buy more by then.
