The Arsenal striker is certain to miss the last 32 of the Europa League, as well as two meetings against Manchester City in the League Cup final and the EPL.
Announced by Arsenal, the French striker is undergoing an arthroscopy procedure, surgery to follow up the problem in the joint, on Tuesday (13/2) in London, and is expected to return to grazing next month.
This means at least Lacazette will miss four games ahead. In addition to two meetings against Manchester City in the final of the English League Cup and the 28th week of the English Premier League, Lacazette can not compete in the two legs of the Europa League's 32nd-leg counter Osterunds FK.
The absence of Lacazette makes the Gunners hit by an attacking crisis in the European league.
