Hello, my Steem friends!

If you think your city is small you will change your opinion really quick after you read this.

I introduce you to the smallest town in the world - Hum. It is located in the Istria county, westernmost county in Croatia.

There lives about 30 inhabitants and it takes about 0,003 squared kilometers of space. There are only 2 stone paved streets with 3 rows of houses. The town is completely surrounded with old stone walls, over them you can see a really fascinating horizon. Thanks to such settlement structure, people can claim that the entire Hum is actually a monument.

After you enter into the town through large iron doors on the right side you can see wall writings written by old Glagolitic script. On the left hand side there's a parish church of the Assumption of Mary.

Outside the town there is another church of St. Jerome with a cemetery where dominates about 30 different families with over 200 gravestones.

Nowadays Hum relives the old traditions and customs.

How would you have imagined the smallest town in the world?
