A Look at eXode Support Cards

Greeting Pilots and Hive Citizens,

Happy #Rekatronfriday and welcome to another edition of @exodenews.

Today we would like to feature the support cards that are available for purchase from the @exodegame shop for a limited time.

Support cards are another type of asset in eXode that act as launch bonuses which can be triggered prior to the evacuation sequence. These supports will give you extra help with evacuation such as additional defense or more cargo to bring along with to colonization.

If you have already tried our test version of the evacuation sequence, you already know how useful an extra defense fleet or added cargo can be.

You can certainly complete a successful evacuate on your own; however, deploying the Vega Security Escort support will greatly increase your chances of survival and will also buy you some extra time to load a few more citizens and cargo to safety.

When the Vega Elite Squadron is called into action, they will hyperspeed to your station and defend it until the last breath. Each Vega Squadron has 20 Centaur Interceptors each armed with 16 Starfleet strength and a 3% chance of intercept against alien attacks on your ship.

Another defense tactic in evacuation would be to deploy an Ion Gaurd Escort before launch. The Ion Guards are a defense fleet of heavy cruisers that are armed with Ionguard Frigates and Cruisers that pack a powerful punch against enemy alien forces and are sure to provide you with additional coverage as well as aid in a successful evacuation with additional resources onboard.

Calling in the Vega Squadron or Ion Guard support cards will place them on cooldown for a few hours and the cooldown time will be increased if the entire squadron gets destroyed.

Even after use, you will still have the support cards in your inventory to be selected again after cooldown. The cards will never be destroyed.

The third and final support card available in the eXode shop is the Resource Crates by Tom Settler. By now you are certainly familiar with Tom Settler and his valuable assets available for colonization, but how about adding a little cargo into your ship during evacuation?

Well, with the Resource Crates support it will guarantee that your cargo hold will have additional resources when you launch, giving your colony a boost from the start. Activating the support connects it to your current game and if your ship is destroyed in evacuation it will be placed on a cooldown momentarily allowing again for future use.

All eXode support cards are available for a limited time in our shop for the discounted presale price of $15.00 each. The price will be increased to their final cost of $20.00 next week. Two weeks following the price increase all remaining supports left in our shop will be burned. That means they will no longer be available for purchase from eXode. There is, however, always the possibility to find them on our player's market as well!
