Greetings Pilots and eXode citizens!

Welcome to the first installment of our Planetary Challenge contest brought to you by eXode!

The Planetary Challenge consists of you, the player, creating an imaginary deck that you would use while playing eXode. However, this time it will be to a known planet. In the actual gameplay, the planet you arrive at after a successful evacuation will be random.

This contest will serve to help you better understand colonization as well as help you to prepare for different possible outcomes.

Scenario

For this contest you are given the following scenario:

As you are preparing to dock at Starbase Aramea, you receive an encrypted message from a trusted source.

The messages reads:

Hyperdriven eXode Captain: Our proximity scans of the sector have revealed several planetoid objects of interest. The most desirable planet is located in the habitable zone of a binary star system and has been given the designation of H24. This planet seems to be a favorable sister planet to one with hellish landscapes and a radioactive surface.

H24, however, has a thick atmosphere, oceans, and moderate climate which shows to be suitable for colonization. Further scans of the planet show that it is a young planet with evolved plant life, mineral deposits, breathable air, and drinkable water. Food is scarce as the plant life is simple (consisting mostly of plankton and grasses) and lacking substance for nutrition.

The sister planet of H24 hosts a small contingent of alien hostiles who appear to be feeding off of the dying planet's radioactive surface. The aliens seem to be unaware of H24 but are operating in the sector. Sensors also picked up small traces of concentrated seismic activity near the equator of H24, nothing to signal geographic instability.

Proceed with caution.

Objective

Given this scenario, you Captains are tasked with the mission to create a hive post that shows which card layout will be chosen given this information for the planet selected for colonization (you must colonize H24).

The deck you choose can consist of cards you have, or cards that you wish that you had. The more realistic the deck the better though, as it is quite unlikely that you will have a crew full of elite legendaries. Try something that you might actually use and if all you have is a starter pack why not test it out? eXode is designed for players at every level to win rewards!

Create your post and list the card you will choose for each appropriate spot. IE Columbus in the ship Slot with Elected Leader in origin slot. There are several posts from the community already that can be used as an example such as this one, from Captain @blockmonster.

Secret Rewards

Secret rewards will be distributed to players who unknowingly achieve secondary (hidden) objectives. Details will be revealed when we announce the winners!

This contest is open to all members of HIVE, you don't have to have an eXode account to qualify. You may make as many builds as you wish, but only submit one official submission link to the comments below. That will be the layout that will be judged based on a scorecard and random probability similar to that of the actual game’s mechanics.

The deadline is post payout, you have seven days Captains!
