What Are You Expecting for the Rest of the Year?

in #expecting4 years ago

Don’t let the rest of 2020 slip out of your hands.

What is expectation?

Expectation is faith in motion.

Expectation is based on doing the right thing.

Your expectation is what keeps your faith moving. There are demons the enemy sends to limit your faith and lower your expectations. When you feel you can no longer believe, you must break those thoughts.
You need to denounce every demon that has hindered your expectations. Denounce every thought of doubt. Cast them out – declare that your faith and expectations are free. Start believing what God has promised over your life.
We serve a limitless God. Once we recognize that He is limitless, you will allow Jesus to supernaturally accelerate everything in your life. The things that used to take years, will take months. God will give you grace to do His will and catapult you into your purpose.

Do the right thing.

When you do the right thing, this activates your expectation. But when you go against the word of God, you lose your expectation for anything good to happen. You succumb to the lies the enemy gives you, you become aware of the negative things in the world around you. But when you are rooted in God’s word, when you do God’s will, you will see things how God sees them. You will be walking in expectation and in full faith.

You keep serving, but nothing has happened yet.

Many have faithfully given their service, tithes and offerings to the Lord. But in order to receive your breakthrough, you cannot lose that expectation that you will reap what you have sown. When you keep serving and live a life of faith, you have the right to financial miracles, breakthroughs, etc. God doesn’t want you to lose your faith. No matter how long you have served or what you are going through- remember God always rewards those who obey and serve Him. So don’t lose your expectation for something good!

“But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” – Luke 22:32

What hinders you from expecting something good?

Your past could keep you from expecting anything good. When you have experienced hurt, betrayal, let-downs, it’s easy to lose faith for the future. But today God wants you to give Him your hurt, surrender your past to Him. Allow the Holy Spirit to heal you. Once you renew your mind and you are free from your past, God will direct you to a new path. You will start to live a life full of faith. Expect something good to happen to you today. Don’t let your past cloud your future.

Expectation requires action in order for it to manifest.

The Bible says, faith without works is dead. Whatever it is you are expecting, God will do His part, but you must take a leap of faith.

“In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” – James 2:17

Declare God’s word and His promises over your life. Don’t let the rest of 2020 slip out of your hands. Take hold of your faith and expect God to go above and beyond this year.
