I think it would be more beneficial for readers to understand the work put in to get to the commissions he received. How much was spent in advertising? What are the conversion rates? Is this a one time commission or will he be receiving this amount on a consistent basis?
All of these questions should help people looking to build an affiliate understand whether a specific avenue is profitable or not. For example, if he spent $500 and his return was $375, then he isn't in profit yet. If he is receiving this $375 monthly, however, he'll be in profit next month.
