RE: My question to @ned for today's livestream. Any good suggestion to my question get's a 10% upvote.

I'll come back to the question but this:

Using my stake to reward users for something I need is new to me. Just giving it a shot and (hopefully) to prove a point for a later vlog.

Is something I've been involved in from both sides over the past year. Last night I was asked to do a report and told a vote would be the reward. In fairness, I'd pull the report for free (to most people!), but I think it's a great way of earning some STEEM for 10/15 minutes work, and should be utilized more.

I had assumed, or read somewhere that the 'steemit' stake was not to be used for voting. That's sort of gone out the window since delegated SP (and misterdelegation) arrived, so why not have an account 'steemdevfund' or something with SP specifically for to vote work carried out for Steem.

I wonder who would manage the voting, and if they would suggest that utopian-io could handle the process, like they do with @utopian.tasks at present.

I think it's worth posing the question for sure, and will be tuning in to see what is said.

Have a good day!

Thanks for sharing your experience. Your comment has earned you 43 cents (I know it's not that much but hopefully when the markets turn round that 1 STEEM you now earned will be worth $5).

If Steem inc started to vote with their stake it will 'dilute' the reward pool a bit for everyone. But if value is being added and that STEEM end up in good hands I think it would be accepted.

The suggestion to use other applications to manage the voting is cool. The whole voting process can be outsources to reduce costs and still get them what they need. A couple of oracles to keep things in check could be handy too. (just throwing stuff out there).
